E3 Recap: My Thoughts so far

Man this week is starting off well. Last year's E3 was a complete bust, but with everyone touting new consoles and launch titles, it seems that everybody is stepping up their game. So here's the stuff that stuck out to me:

First: KINGDOM HEARTS 3!!!!! WOOOOOOOOO! THANK GOD ABOVE SQUARE ENIX STILL HAS SENSE!!! HOLY CRAP!!! I'm a big fan of the franchise, last year's Dream Drop Distance got on my Top 7 of 2012, and Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep holds a tight spot ...

Remember Me: Review

Note: I'm in the process of playing The Last of Us, don't worry the review will be up as soon as possible.

Okay, so Remember Me is a game I have been waiting for, basically because of it's cool concpet of manipulating memories to change combat. Now, I was kinda iffy about the gameplay though, from what I heard the combat was sort of, floaty. I was in the mood for a good 3D brawler, and it seems I got what I asked for.

Metro: Last Light: Review

Posted by Jake on June 9, 2013 at 4:05 PM Comments comments (0)

I have had a brief experience with Metro 2033, this franchises previous title. I played it over at a buddy of mine's house and was quite impressed by it, it looked good, it had an excessively creepy atmosphere, it controlled well, and was overall, a decent FPS game. It wasn't extraordinary, but it was a game I was glad I ended up playing. Metro Last Light makes it's predecessor look awful by comparison.

Metro Last Light showed up mid 2012, with a trailer circula...

So, with E3 coming up and stuff, just here to let you know I'll be posting updates like mad. I won't be there (THANK GOD!) but I'll be glued to my computer television! I'm not excited for the event per say, but announcements on future games and consoles. I'm hoping we can finally get the Smash Bros. Gaiden line up finally... Please..... Or maybe Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem? Nintendo! Step up your game man! I've had a great year with you so far, so keep throwing things at me! (Maybe some ...

Deus Ex: The Fall (I want to rip my hair out and eat it.)

WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!? SQUARE ENIX! WHAT IN THE HOLY HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

Okay... I can calm down. I can control myself... just breathe.

Alright, so here's the deal. Deus Ex, the original, is one of my favorite games ever. It was probably the first experience I've had with PC gaming, and remains to be the best experience I've had with PC gaming. Aside from Invisible War, the other Deus Ex game, Human Revolution, was released in 2011, and was my runner up ...

Top 7 Favorite Boss Battles (VIDEO)

Posted by Jake on June 1, 2013 at 9:45 PM Comments comments (2)

Well, I made this a while ago, except the audio was AWFUL. I downloaded it, made it slightly better, and now it's a bit more listen-able (I don't think that's grammatically correct...) So here's my Top 7 Boss Battles video, except slightly less crappy. It's still a tad quiet at the beginning, but it gets better a minute in, I did my best :D
